Donald
Brashear, Round I |
In
his first exhibition game as an Edmonton Oiler, Laraque was out to make
himself known. He landed one good left but couldn't really get going.
Brashear got the jump on him and landed more punches. It was a pretty short
fight.

Todd
Simpson |
Laraque
absolutely nails Jamie Allison so Simpson comes in to defend him. Georges
gets on him early landing some lefts and knocking Simpson down. Simpson
gets back up and Georges feeds him some more lefts. Simpson, no slouch,
gets a couple good lefts in before Georges tags him again. The two combatants
held on from there, obviously tired from an excellent fight. Georges won
this beauty.

Potomski |
|
You
might be saying Pot-who-ski? Well Potomski was a tough guy with the Sharks
when he decided to try Georges. Big mistake. They grab ahold and Potomski
misses with a right, Georges comes back with a left, Potomski throws another
harmless right and then Georges let's him have it. Laraque clubs Potomski
with four big hard lefts.

Marshall |

This
was a very short fight. Marshall threw a couple rights. Georges comes back
with about three lefts and Marshall goes to his knees and the linesman
broke it up.

Myhres
|
A
couple of big strong lefties throwing wild haymakers. No punches actually
landed solidly until Georges got his arm out of his jersey and landed a
left that knocked Myhers helmet off at the end of the fight. Call this
one a draw.

Dingman, Round I
|
These
two guys go at it fresh out of the sin bin, where both men where serving
penalties for an attempted fight two minutes prior. Georges supplied all
of the offence in this fight. He landed about four punches before Dingman
went down. Another win for Georges.
